Garland GLTSM1AB048BE Fibre Cable, 2mm, 48 Cores, Loose Tube, UV Stabilised PE/Nylon Sheath, -40 to 70degreesC, 10.5mm Diameter, Blue/Black
The Madison Group Fibre Cable is engineered for outdoor optical fibre applications, featuring a robust loose tube construction that enhances performance and durability. With 48 cores, this cable is designed to meet the demands of modern telecommunications, ensuring reliable data transmission. The cable's diameter is 10.5mm, and it operates effectively within a temperature range of -40 to 70°C, making it suitable for various environmental conditions.
This product boasts a UV stabilised polyethylene jacket combined with a nylon termite barrier, providing excellent protection against external elements. Each tube is jelly filled to prevent water ingress, while SAP dry-blocking technology ensures a cleaner workplace by blocking moisture between tubes. Additionally, two high-strength rip cords are embedded under the PE jacket for easy stripping of long lengths of cable, facilitating efficient installation in duct and direct burial applications. Compliance with standards such as AS/CA S-008 and RoHS further underscores its reliability and safety in use.
