Features:
• The DUNGS VPS 504 S04 is a valve proving system for DMV series safety valves. It checks that both safety shutoff valves in a DMV series gas train are fully closed before either a system startup and/or after system shutdown when wired and interlocked to a suitable flame safeguard control.
• The VPS will halt the startup sequence to a piece of gas burning equipment if it detects an open safety shutoff valve, thus preventing ignition under dangerous conditions.
• The VPS 504 S04 is recommended for industrial and commercial heating applications. where CE approval is required.
• The VPS is the means for proof of closure and normally open vent line alternative.
• The VPS is required for CE compliance on system with capacities of 4.1 Mbtu and up.
• The VPS is suitable for natural gas, propane, air and other inert gases. Not suitable for butane gas.
